Elton Wolfe

Elton was born in Fort Worth, Nov. 28, 1921, to parents Owen W. and Lucille Hamilton Wolfe. He proudly and honorably served his country during World War II in the Navy. Part of his responsibility was to go into an area where there was no airstrip and set up landing sites for the U.S. aircraft. He also served on search and rescue missions for those who had been shot down by enemy fire. ??? After being honorable discharged from the Navy he soon went to work for O'Keefe and Merritt/Tappan. He became a factory representative for the company and became one of their top salespersons. He retired after 20 years of service. ??? Elton was an avid collector of miniature cars and eagles. While in San Francisco, he served as president of the Thunderbird Owners Club of the bay area. ??? Survivors: Elton leaves behind to cherish their memories of him: his wife of 58 years, Jean Wolfe; daughter, Deena Cashion and her husband, Jack W.; granddaughter, Paige Michelle Cashion; grandson, Jack Jr. "Jace"; sister-in-law, Joyce Stamp Watkins and her husband, E.H. "Buck"; nieces, Judy Spruell and husband, John, Jill Faulder and husband, George "Bud"; aunt, Ruth M. Holeman; cousins, Helen R. Lewis and her husband, Robert J., DeAnn Sanders and her husband, Boonie; and other extended family members.
