Emmett Smith

Emmett "Richard" Smith, 51, of Arlington, Texas, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard was born in Dallas, Texas on June 2, 1958. As owners of R & D Tile, he and his wife had a successful business, installing tile in Arlington for 30 years. Survivors include his Wife of 26 years, Donna Smith of Arlington; step sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Ronda Carter and Steve and Brandi Carter all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Nicki, Cameron, Jacob and Matthew; mother, Mary; sisters Carol (Larry) and Kay (Arturo); brother, Charlie (Joy).
