Fay Markle

Fay was born Oct. 14, 1911, in Fort Worth to Uriah and Ota Parks Lee. She married Claud C. Markle on June 21, 1947, in Fort Worth; he preceded her in death May 1, 1995. Fay moved from Fort Worth to Loveland, Colo., in 2002. She also was a former longtime resident of Bridgeport.        She was a secretary for Acme Brick Co., retiring in 1977. She was a former president of the Women in Construction. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Fort Worth. She later was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport and then Galiee Baptist Church in Loveland.        In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.        Survivors: Daughter, Betty L. Brown of Loveland; grandchildren, Mark Shields, David Shields, Gary Shields, David Arctur, Beth Loy and Brad Brown; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
