Frances Jean Calhoun

Frances Jean Calhoun, 86, passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2014 in Bedford. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst. Interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Frances was born on August 20, 1928 in Gainesville. She had a wonderful career of over 30 years with Burrus and Matthews that she was very proud of. Frances was also very active and enjoyed dancing and traveling. She loved the Lord, her friends and especially her family. Frances was preceded in passing by her husband, O.W. Calhoun; son, Gene Bell; and five siblings. Survivors: Granddaughter, Julie Nabors and husband Kelly; great-grandson, Michael Bell; and many beloved nieces, nephews and family.
