G.H. "Jerry" Bawcom

Granville Henry "Jerry" Bawcom Jr. passed away peacefully at a local hospital on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at the age of 72. Service: A small service will be held for family and friends at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Jerry served the United States government for over 36 years, including the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and the U.S. Customs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara M and Granville Henry Bawcom Sr.; his sister, Evelyn Dawson and husband, Joe. Survivors: He is survived by children, Tracy C Bawcom and wife, Shanon, of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Travis P Bawcom and wife, Terri, of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Ashlee L Bawcom, Alyssa R Bawcom, Brandon P Bawcom and Trenton C Bawcom; his brother, Tommy R Bawcom and wife, Ruth; and many nieces and nephews.
