WATAUGA -- Geneva Ruth Huffman, 83, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Geneva was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Fort Worth to Virgil and Irene Hendon Heedley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Henry Huffman, and daughter, Ann Reed. Survivors: Son, David Huffman and wife, Kathy; daughters, Melinda Gardner and husband, Danny, and Jerry Huffman; brother, Virgil Heedley; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
