Grady Barron

HURST -- William "Grady" Barron went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Funeral Service: 1:00pm Friday, October 31, 2014 at North Pointe Baptist Church, Hurst. Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Texas. Grady was a Staff Sergeant in WWII and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a salesman, an ordained deacon and beloved greeter of North Pointe Baptist Church. Grady served his Lord and his church in many capacities through the years. He loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. Grady is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Mary Barron; daughter, Betty Measures; sons, Harvey Barron and wife Glenda, Wayne Barron and wife Karon, Alan Barron and wife Christin; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister, Juanita Stanley; brother Bobby Barron and wife DeLayne; and many other extended family and friends.
