Harold McMurtrey

HURST -- H.E. "Mac" McMurtrey, 88, a loved husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment will follow in White's Chapel Cemetery in Southlake.        Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Scottish Rites Hospital where Mac was a charter member.        Mac was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Grandfield, Okla. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Dynamics after 33 years of service.
