Harold Sanders

HURST -- Harold Hayden Sanders, 79, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Harold, a native of Lindale, was born Dec. 16, 1930, to Clifford Hayden and Alice Jeannette Jarman Sanders. He was a former union steward for Lodge 776, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. After 39 years, he retired from General Dynamics. Survivors: Wife, Betty Sue Sanders; son, Larry Joe Sanders and wife, Sheila; daughters, Sharon Sue Bloxom and Karen Jeannette Henderson and husband, Frank; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Jo Jarman Hitt.
