Hazel Grimes

BEDFORD -- Hazel Grimes, 97, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at a local care facility.        Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. The Rev. Lawrence Hammond will officiate. Interment: Following the service, Hazel will be laid to rest in Bourland Cemetery, Keller, next to her husband, Lawrence Robert Grimes, who preceded her in death in 1959. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.        Survivors: Son, Robert Grimes and wife, Linda; daughter, Jean Rippe and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Ron Rippe and wife, Stephanie, Ginger McCurry and husband, Kevin, Vicki Guidry and husband, Alan, Gary Grimes and wife, Suzi, and Rob Grimes and wife, De'Anne; and seven great-grandchildren.
