KELLER -- Hildur Steward, 94, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011.        Service: 10:30AM Friday, Lucas Funeral Home 137 E. Hill St. Keller, TX. visitation: 6-8PM Thursday        Interment: 12:30PM Friday, DFW National Cemetery Dallas, TX.        Hildur was born in Spokane, WA February 28, 1917. She was devoted to her family and gave them unconditional love. She never gave up on you or your dreams and she always remembered birthdays. She was a fine Christian lady and enjoyed reading stories of women in the Bible and other inspirational books. Some of her hobbies included sewing, knitting, making and collecting porcelain dolls, writing poems, and making gifts for others. Hildur was an excellent cook who enjoyed making yummy treats, including her native stollen. She loved her ancestral home of Sweden and traveling there was one of the highlights of her life. She was known as a loyal friend. Hildur was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother. Survivors: husband of 39 years, Melvin; children, Mike Webb and wife, Cynthia, Penny Burd and husband, George, Bob Webb, Jeanne McKinney and husband, Dave, and Jon Webb; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren;and many family members.
