Hylon Juanita Steffensen

Hylon Juanita Steffensen, 90, a devoted child of God, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014. Funeral service 2pm Tuesday, Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Burial Laurel Land Memorial Park. A native of Pilot Point, Hylon was born June 20, 1924 to Sam and Beulah Mae Tinsley Wright. She was an area resident for 70 years. She was loving, kind hearted and faithful. Helping raise her grandchildren was her thrill. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Jean Brannan. Survivors: son, Bradley Oluf Steffensen; daughters, Charlotte Sue Cooney, Loretta Carol Burton and husband, Larry, Cynthia Ann Hodnett, Sharon Kay Jones and husband, Willard; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 6 great,great-grandchildren.
