James Beasley

MANSFIELD -- James Monroe Beasley, a long time resident of Mansfield, has returned home to the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2011, after a long courageous battle with cancer.        Graveside Service: 1 p.m., Wednesday at Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.        Jimmy was born June 6, 1948 in Hill County. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School and had a seven year career with the U.S. Navy. He will always be loved and deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Foye M. Beasley.        Survivors: He is survived by daughter, Sarah Beasley; grandaughter, Kenlee Weber; mother, Ruth Beasley; sister, Cynthia Williams and husband, Dan, of Alvarado; brother, Larry Beasley and wife, Angie, of Forestburg; sister, Rhonda Foster and husband, Mike, of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews.
