James Allen McDonald

GRAPEVINE -- James Allen McDonald was carried to his heavenly Father June 4, 2014. Service: 11 AM Saturday June 14, 2014 at Oasis Community Worship Center, 209 Harwood Rd., Bedford, TX. 76021. Internment: Private Reverend Jimmie McDonald became a Christian at age 16. He studied opera at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore. He received a Doctor of Divinity degree. He had been soloist and choral director for such ministries as Billy Graham and Rex Humbard in addition to his 15 year association with Katherine Kuhlman and approximately 15 years with Benny Hinn. He traveled the world spreading the good word of God. He has pastored in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for 46 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Judith Blount. Survivors: wife, Marlene McDonald; daughter, Carol King; grandchildren, Candyse King and Joseph Blount II and many beloved friends.
