Jere Don Oxford

Jere Don Oxford, 73, passed away peacefully Friday, April 3, 2015. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Lucas Funeral Chapel, 517 N. Sylvania Ave. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A native of Arlington, Jere was born Nov. 23, 1941, to Hortie and Artie Elizabeth Long Oxford. He was a printer by trade and a member of the Printers Local Union. In addition to his parents, Jere was preceded in death by four brothers. Survivors: Wife, Becky; son, Russell Oxford; daughters, Tiffany Oxford-Wozniewski, Sherra Gray and husband, Casey, Robin Atkison and husband, Chad; and grandchildren, Gary, Katlyn, Keeley, Mikayla, Luca and Landon.
