Jerry Neal Graves

Jerry Neal Graves passed away in his home in Kennedale, Texas on March 31, 2025, at the age of 70.

He was born on November 11, 1954 in Monroe, Louisiana to Melba Neal and Robert P. Graves.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Melba Neal Graves and Robert P. Graves; brothers, Mickey Boykin Graves, Robert Larry Graves, and Garrett Graves; and wife, Patricia Jean Graves.

He is survived by his sons, Jonathan Neal Graves and Jerry Del Graves; daughters, Constance Marie Graves and Mariah Leah Graves; grandchildren, Brianna Marie Graves, Hailey Nicole Graves, Joshua Martin Lopez, Jesse Alexander Graves, Grace Rosalie Graves, and Eleanor Nicole McCormick; brothers, Terry Lane Graves and wife, Kim, and Shaun Graves; many nieces and nephews; and his most cherished companions, Hannah and Fergie.

Jerry graduated from White Station High School in 1974. Although born in Louisiana, he spent most of his life in Tennessee and Texas, but called Tennessee “home.” He grew up in the restaurant industry and always enjoyed food service. He was a huge Elvis fan, often imitating his singing and appearance when he was younger. In his final days, he loved Toby Keith and could be heard listening to “Don’t Let the Old Man In” on repeat. Jerry suffered from various illnesses throughout his lifetime, but even in bad times, he was there with a smile, always pushing through the best he could. He endlessly loved his dogs, Hannah and Fergie, and often times put their needs before his own. He will be remembered for being such a character.

Always funny and rarely serious, he was ready to make anyone laugh at the silliest things. He fiercely loved those around him, and will be forever missed, but not forgotten.
