Jerry Sanford Lavender, 71, passed away July 23, 2014. Memorial Service: 11:00am Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Lucas Funeral Home. Jerry was born March 17, 1943 in Alexandria, Virginia to Clyde Sanford Lavender and Evelyn Hepler. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Lara Grace; Granddaughers, Ceilia Lavender and Calli Webb; brothers, Gene and John Lavender; sisters, Juanita Hedgebeth and her husband, Leland, Brenda D'Antoni, Tammy Denham, and Joyce Lavender, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
