Jerry Scott White

Jerry "Scott" White, 42, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA in memory of Scott's love of animals. Scott loved all sports and played Pee Wee and Little League football. He also played for Hurst Junior High and Bell High School. The year he played for Bell High School they won district. He graduated from TCU with a finance degree. He worked at Fidelity Investment for 14 years. Scott became a Catholic four years ago and loved his church. Survivors: His loving family, parents, Jerry and Shirley White; sister, Wendy White Chaney and husband, Phil; and niece, Shelby Chaney.
