Jessie Lee Holloway, 94, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Friday, 11 September 2020. Born on Thursday, 1 April 1926, in Normangee, Texas, he was the son of the late Queen Ester (Norris) formerly of Bryan, Texas and the late "Will" Wllie H. Holloway formerly of Bryan, Texas. Jessie worked and retired from the Federal Corrections Institute Fort Worth, Texas. He was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church where Rev. Larry T. Hall is the Pastor. On Sunday, 31 December 2006 he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jessie Lee (Donaldson) Holloway, daughter of the late Perry Donaldson formerly of Madisonville, TX and the late Myrtie Mae (Green) formerly of Madisonville, TX. Jessie is survived by two children, Ralph and his wife Bonita (Haynes) of Arlington, TX, and Myrna of Fort Worth, TX; two sisters, Retia Taylor of Leon Co., TX, and Margie McGruder and her husband James McGruder of Bryan, TX: two grandsons, Ramaan of Arlington, TX, and Perry of Arlington, TX. A host of cousins, nephews, grand and great nephews, nieces, grand and great nieces. Jessie was preceded in death by six siblings, Cleotis of Houston, TX, Willie B. of Duquesne, PA, John of Oklahoma City, OK., Vel Verna of Corpus Christi, TX, Louis of Houston, TX and Alaphay of Bryan, TX, one half-sister, Alberta (Perry), Miles of Dallas, TX; four grandparents, Sam of Madisonville, TX, Melissie (Maine) Holloway of Madisonville, TX, Jacob A. Norris of Madison Co., TX and Arena (Irene Carrington) Norris of Texas.
