Fort Worth - - Joanne Eisle, 76, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. Celebration of Life: 11am Saturday, April 26 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller Joanne was born January 30, 1938 to Ray and Thelma Bittner. She was a daughter, big sister, wife and mother. She made a home for her husband and children that was structured, peaceful and orderly. She loved to decorate her home for special occasions and she enjoyed entertaining guests. She loved being a good hostess. She was very social and enjoyed the company of family and her many friends. She was always upbeat, out-going and friendly. She supported her husband in his ministry. Leaving the security of family and friends, she relocated with her family to New York. She loved their church and made many new friends. She loved working with children and helped with the Awana program for many years. Babies and little children were especially appealing to her. She enjoyed costume parties and went to great lengths to create elaborate outfits. Vacation Bible school was another place to exercise her creative abilities. Her husband was always willing to lend a hand to bring her great ideas to life. She enjoyed a busy fulfilling life – laughing easy and often. She enjoyed reading, playing games and was very competitive. Being a wife, mother and a grandmother was her most rewarding accomplishment. She made life-long friends and will be greatly missed. Survivors: Husband Bill; daughters Shawnie Merritt, (Ron) and Shelly Millheim (Dan) and Foster daughter Rhonda Fairgrieve-Barlow; grandchildren, Ashley Allison (Bobby) and Nate Millheim (Joy), sisters Virginia Gates and Alice Fields and brother Dave.
