John Davis

HURST -- John Harold Davis, 72, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010.        Memorial service: Private.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Legacy Church of Christ.        John was a lifelong resident of Hurst, born Nov. 8, 1937. He worked construction until 1989 and then worked for the city of Irving for 17 years. There was never a more wonderful father, husband, grandfather or friend.        John was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Lena Davis, and his son, Link.        Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Muriel; son, Thad; and grandson, Jed.
