John Sander

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- John G. Sander, 82, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2008. Service: Will be in St. James, N.Y. Interment: St. James, N.Y. John, the son of Valentine and Hedwig Wagner Sander, was born Oct. 22, 1926, in New York City. He was a proud member of the Boy Scouts, a former resident of East Islip, N.Y., for 25 years and a former owner of Holbrook Deli in New York. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sander, and brother Peter Sander. Survivors: Wife, Margie Sander; son, Bruce Sander and wife, Diane; daughter, Barbara Tedesco and husband, Jim; grandchilden, Richard Wiese, Dennis Wiese, Natalie Sander, Briana Sander, Kimberly Tedesco, Jim Tedesco and Christine Plotino; and 11 great-grandchildren.
