NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Johnnie B. Beimel passed away October 27, 2014, in North Richland Hills, TX. surrounded by her family. Graveside: Sat 2:00 p.m. November 1, 2014 at Antelope Cemetery, Antelope Texas. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Memorials: If desired, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Johnnie was born Nov 12, 1922, in Antelope to the late John and Lucille Thomas Barrick. She married the late Harry E. Beimel on November 6, 1943, and they had two children. She loved working in the yard, Watching the birds and listening to music; especially Glenn Miller. She was an active member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School class. She had lunch every Saturday for many years with her daughters who loved their Mother very much and will miss her. The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice and their church families and friends for all their support. 2 Chronicles 7:14 She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Lois Hill and Sybil Vander Weel. Survivors: Children, Anna Carol Fejes (Steve) and Lori J. Perry (Greg) and grandson David Waller.
