Juanita Hammond

HURST -- Juanita "Nita" Hammond, 77, of Hurst passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in Bedford. Memorial: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. She was born in Howard, Kan., to the late Ruthie and Earl Glanders. Nita was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors: Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Steve Hammond and wife, Susan, of Hurst and Dave Hammond and wife, Vickie, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jeff Hammond and Sarah Guthrie, Amanda Morrison and husband, Jeremy, Chris Hammond and Cody Hammond; great-granddaughter, Loren Morrison; aunt, Flossie Lockhart of New Braunfels; and many special friends at Colonial Savings in Fort Worth, where she retired last September.
