NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Juanita Hunn, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Legacy Church of Christ, North Richland Hills. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Legacy Church of Christ quilters and benevolence ministry. Her dedication to the Lord was shown through her service to these and other ministries at Pipeline Rd./Legacy Church of Christ. Juanita was born Oct. 8, 1923, in Noodle, Texas. She was retired from Birdville ISD where she worked for more than 20 years in food service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Hunn; son, Kevin Hunn; parents, Ernest and Jettie Henderson; and brothers, Ernest Henderson Jr. and Bobby Henderson. Survivors: Her children, Brenda Medrano and husband, Mike, Jimmy Hunn and wife, Judy, Tom Hunn, Pam Shappard and husband, Robert; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, her church family, food service friends and neighbors.
