COLLEYVILLE -- Kathie Cox, a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmommie went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, with Dr. Jeff Burnett, officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral Home. Memorials: You may honor Kathie with a memorial to Seasons Hospice at www.seasons.org. Kathie was a homemaker and former teacher. She was the co-director of "Kingdom Seekers" Bible class of First Baptist Church of Hurst. Survivors: Husband, Tyler; sons, Benjamin and his wife, Celisa, Nathan and his wife, Courtney, and Davis and his wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Kaya and Jacob Cox; sisters, Nancy Reiss and Sarajane Hall; and brothers, David and Joe Oakley.
