Katie M. Pettit, 91, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her home in Richland Hills. Funeral: 11:00 Mass Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Saint John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Drive in North Richland Hills. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The family will receive friends at Lucas Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Tuesday with a rosary service at 7:00 pm. Katie was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Pettit; a son-in-law, John "Jack" Rogers. Survivors: Her husband of 72 years, Oliver A. Pettit Jr.; sons, Oliver Pettit III and wife, Connie, Philip Pettit and wife, Rhea; daughter, Glenna Rogers; sister Miriam Smith; grandchildren, Chris and Marnie Pettit, Dan Pettit, Chad Pettit, John and Laura Rogers, Brian and Lacey Rogers, and Stephen Rogers; great-grandchildren: Madison, Lily and Josephine Pettit, Jack, Elise, Henry, Mackenzie, Ben and Harvey Rogers; and extended family and friends.
