MANSFIELD -- Kenneth Earl "Slick" Blackmon, 78, was embraced in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 5, 2012.        Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Blessing Funeral Home; Mr. Blackmon may be viewed 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.        Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was looking forward to the birth of his second great-grandson, Rhyder Daniels.        Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Audrey Blackmon; children, Steve Blackmon, David Blackmon and Lena Story and husband, Donald; grandsons, D.J. Story and wife, Laci, Michael Blackmon, Danny Blackmon and Drew Blackmon; granddaughter, Kendra Daniels and husband, Scottie; great-grandson, Easton Story; brother-in-law, Ricky High of Kaufman; sister-in-law, Sharon High of Murchison; and his devoted pet, Jeet.
