Personal Memories of Life Mr. Kenneth McCreary
July 18th 1949 – January 20th 2023
Mr. Kenneth McCreary was born the 18th day of July in the year of 1949 to the parentage of Mr. Moses McCreary and Mrs. Opal McCreary in Fort Worth, Texas. He lived his life in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended I M Terrell High School where he played trumpet in the band. At football games he played the solo to the song Hard times.
At I M Terrell he was affectionately known as ”Chicken,” he Graduated in 1967. Kenneth continued his education at Prairie View A&M University graduating with a degree in music. While at Prairie View, He played in the band and was the president of Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity. He was one of founding members of the college musical group The Voshey’s , which performed on campus and all over Houston and South, Texas. As the leader of the group, he had the nickname “Keebler Man.”
After college Mr. McCreary was a substitute teacher in the Fort Worth ISD for a few Years before working a number of factory jobs. Later in life he bought an eighteen-Wheeler and travel across America. The most important thing about Mr. McCreary is he knew The Lord Christ Jesus.
Left to cherish his memories: His brother Robert Mccreary and a host of nieces and nephews who loved and knew him as Uncle Kenneth.
