Leslie Pelton

BEDFORD -- Leslie Pelton, 92, passed away peacefully, Wednesday March 16, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.        Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3713 Harwood Road in Bedford.        Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst.        Leslie was born in London, England on October 15, 1918. He served his country as a RAF Pilot during all of World War II. He had a fulfilling life and "did it his way". He will be greatly missed.        Survivors: His beloved wife, Mary Pelton; daughters, Helayne Byers and husband Doug, Jackie Pelton-Owen and husband Scott, and Ann Pelton-Moore and husband Matt; grandchildren, Daniel, Maeve, Conor, Moira, Jack, Niall, and Devin; extended family, The McNeill Family and a host of dear friends.
