Letitia "Tish" Chamblee Lucas

FORT WORTH -- Letitia "Tish" Chamblee Lucas, 88, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lucas Memorial Chapel in Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Tish was born in Grapevine on Oct. 14, 1926. She graduated in 1944 from Grapevine High School. She was very involved in the Republican Party for many years and served George H.W. Bush in the 1970s and as one of "Bush's Belles" in 1988. Tish retired from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development after 20 years of service. Tish was preceded in death by her children, Vivian Bickham and Bryan Lucas. Survivors: Granddaughter, Robin Haga and husband, Buddy; grandson, Brett Lucas and wife, Nancy; great-grandsons, Brodie Haga and Jacob and Blake Lucas; sister, Patsy and husband, Vic Seifert; brother, Bobby Chamblee and wife, Pyper; many nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.
