Linda Ellen McGrath

Linda Ellen (Schief) McGrath, 67, devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home with family on December 29, 2014. Linda was born in Allentown, PA. She attended Hahnemann (Drexel) School of Nursing in Philly, PA. where she lived in Mechanicsburg and Latrobe, PA. She has lived in the Fort Worth area since the mid 1990's. Linda was a career nurse working in rehab, homecare and hospice. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, shopping, traveling but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Survivors: husband, Frederick F. McGrath; children, Frederick F. McGrath II and his wife Mindy Webster, Allyson Leigh Walsh and her husband Chad Walsh; grandchildren, Rylea Kathryn, Hunter, Connor and Ryleigh Michelle; sister, Karen (Schief) Baker and brother, Robert W. Schief. Services: A memorial service will be at a later date with a private visitation Wednesday.
