NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Lola Dee Cofer, 92, a minister's wife, loving mother and grandmother, died in Fort Worth on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial: 2 p.m. Saturday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Dee was active until the last week of her life, living in her own home, driving until last November, and loving her family, church and friends. She was born in Comanche. She lived with her husband of 63 years, Bill Cofer, in Hobart and Edmond, Okla., Beaumont, Brownsville, Seagoville, Silsbee, Dallas, and Fort Worth. Dee was a member of The Hills Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Isaac and Vinnie Nations Harris; seven siblings; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Survivors: Daughters, Donna Bishop (Gary) of Springtown, Linda Funderburgh (Mike) of Decatur, and Nancy Fearn (Bill) of St. Louis, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
