Lottie Harper

Mrs. Lottie Bennett Harper was born August 2, 1933 in the Concord community of Rusk County, Texas to the late Alex and Pauline Madkins Bennett. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age, and graduated from Concord High School.

She united in holy matrimony to Mr. Cornell Harper, and together they nurtured and loved their only child (Tomesa). Lottie enjoyed life. She loved football, traveling and delighted in spending time with family and friends.

On January 2, 2021, Lottie departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Pauline Bennett, her beloved husband, Cornell and her five brothers and seven sisters, Curlie, Medford, Arvelia, Alexander, Alberta, Nannie, Merlene, Cloteal, Albert, Florene, Clovus, and Ethylene. She leaves to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life, daughter Tomesa, grandson Cornelius, her devoted nephew Patrick, great-grandchildren, Alex and Alexa (16), Janiya (13), and Charell (10), Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lottie will be greatly missed by many who knew and loved her dearly.
