Louis L. Kennedy

BEDFORD -- Louis L. Kennedy passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Louis was born in Pawhuska, Okla., on Sept. 2, 1919, to Sam and Amy Kennedy. He graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1937. Louis was a sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He married Vivian C. Kennedy on Oct. 11, 1953. Louis was a member of the Osage Indian Nation of Oklahoma. He retired from the General Service Administration where he worked as a civil servant. Louis had a love for football and golf and enjoyed calf roping. He was preceded in death by his wife; his brothers, Bill Kennedy and Morris Kennedy; and his parents. Survivors: Son, John S. Kennedy; daughters, Ann Kennedy Johns and husband, Chris Sr., and Lori L. Kennedy; and grandchildren, Steven Johns and Chris Johns Jr. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Louis L.
