Marcus Harold Roberson

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Marcus Harold Roberson, 94, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Wednesday in West End Cemetery in Lingleville. Robert Waller will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Marcus was born Oct. 19, 1920, in Erath County. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a staff sergeant. He was awarded two Bronze Stars. He had attended College Hill Church of Christ since 1963. Marcus was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Maida L. Roberson. Survivors: Son, Stephen H. Roberson; daughter, Claudia Daughetee and husband, David Daughetee; grandson, Jason Roberson and wife, Jennifer; granddaughter, Hilary Archer and husband, Daniel Archer; and great-grandchildren, Kennedy Daughetee Archer, Gavin Roberson and Lawson Roberson.
