Margaret Holcomb

HURST -- Margaret Holcomb, 86, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.        Margaret was born in Three Sands, Okla., on Oct. 10, 1923. She married her beloved husband, Robert L. Holcomb, on Jan. 2, 1942. Margaret was a cornerstone of her wonderful and loving family and she loved preparing meals and otherwise entertaining the entire family in get-togethers. She was an active and longtime member of Richland Hills Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and other activities with her husband.        Survivors: Son, Robert L. Holcomb Jr. and wife, Suzy; daughter, Ginger Nichols and husband, Don; and grandchildren, Robert L. Holcomb III and wife, Manda, Jacob Holcomb and wife, Courtney, Brian Nichols and wife, Michelle, and Kristin Nichols.
