HURST -- Margaret "Grammy" Simmons passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was known by everyone. Survivors: Her husband of 55 years, Brooks Simmons; son, Paul "Thumper" Simmons and his wife, Sherri; daughters, Tammie Stone and her husband, Jerry, and Tina Llewellyn and her husband, John; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Smallwood; many nieces and nephews; a host of friends.
