Margie Evans

WATAUGA -- Margie Elizabeth Evans, 78, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.        Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.        Margie, the daughter of Vola Branch and Irvin Francis Bryant, was born Feb. 15, 1932, in McKinney. During her career as a key punch operator. she worked 21 years for Swift & Co. and retired from Bell Helicopter after 21 1/2 years of service. She was a member of Worth Baptist Church, where she was active in the child ministry.        She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and a grandson, Eric Bearden.        Survivors: Sons, Ross Bearden and wife, Kim, and James Bearden and wife, Jacquiline; grandchildren, Brian Bearden and Jeniffer Barnett; six great-grandchildren.
