Marie "Bunny" Van Tol

HURST -- Marie "Bunny" Emily Karpinsky Van Tol, 63, joined her father in eternal rest Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Bunny recently retired from American Airlines after 41 years. She was a world traveler, genealogist and talented crafter. Through the years, all of her children had paws. She was the daughter of Emily Warga Karpinsky and the late William R. Karpinsky; life partner of Frederick Schad; sister of William Karpinsky of Pennsylvania and Nancy Tarantino (Andy) of California; stepmother of Jack and Jane Van Tol; treasured aunt of Tony Tarantino (Heather) and Katie Meligan (Kenny) of California, Chris Tarantino (Jenn) of Washington, Robert Karpinsky (Debi) and Amy Bialecki (Stan) of Pennsylvania, Drew Tarantino of Costa Rica; and had nine grandnephews and three grandnieces.
