Marie Goedecke

passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.        Marie worked for many years in insurance and retired from All State as an agent. She was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church and was a member of the choir for many years. She had served as a Sunday school teacher and youth group counselor and had been an active member of Peace Life Fellowship Group.        She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Walter Winter.        Survivors: Husband, Ted; son, Charles and his wife, Beth; daughter, Priscilla Young and her husband, Judge Everett Young; grandsons, Michael Goedecke and his wife, Veronica, John Goedecke, Phillip Young and Stephen Young; granddaughters, Michelle Young Benavidez and Jennifer Young; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
