KELLER -- Marjorie Parish Felder, 90, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at a local care facility. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Keller, 1025 Johnson Road, with the Rev. Dr. Shelley Brooks officiating, assisted by Dr. William Jones. Interment: Wednesday in Oakwood Cemetery after a service at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Huntsville, 1016 Sam Houston Ave., Huntsville, with the Rev. Ellen Willet officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, the James L. West Alzheimer's Unit in Fort Worth or the Weekday Children's Ministry of First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Marjorie was born April 26, 1920, in Fort Worth to John Millard and Ruth Imogene Wilkerson Parish. She graduated from Polytechnic High School and attended Texas Wesleyan University. She was active in several churches in East Texas and Houston. Marjorie also had a special interest in early childhood education. She retired in Huntsville after 50 years of ministry with her husband, who was a Methodist minister. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Roy Lee Felder. Survivors: Daughters, Sharon Sholar and husband, Eddie, Charlotte Hill and husband, David, and Barbara Tickner; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; siblings, J.M. Parish Jr., Doris Warren and Virginia Phillips; and nieces, nephews and extended family. Lucas Funeral Home
