ARLINGTON -- Melissa Dawne Blue, 40, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, after a long illness. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Park Baptist Church, 5510 Matlock Road, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the family's home. She was preceded in death by her father, John McCarty Blue of Colonial Beach, Va. Survivors: Mother, Theresa Ann Jeffers; sister, Meredith Blue of Arlington; brother, Matthew Blue and wife, Amber, of Dickson, Tenn.; nieces, Lensey Torres and Chloe Blue; nephew, Ryan Blue; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
