Michael Lester Westbrooks

Michael Lester Westbrooks, 65, of Justin, Texas passed away peacefully May 26, 2014 while at home with his loving wife. Michael entered this world July 18, 1948 to William and Lillian (Kight) Westbrooks in Atlanta, Georgia where was raised. He was a graduate of North Clayton High School in College Park, Georgia. and went on to college to get a Mechanical/Engineering degree. Michael later married Peggy Leverette, the love of his life of 35 years, February 6, 1976 and had one daughter. He loved to spend time outdoors camping and taking his boat fishing. Michael was a very loving man who loved his wife and grandkids very much. He was preceded in death both parents; his sisters: Bobby Christopher; and Mary Harris. Survivors include his wife: Peggy Westbrooks; daughter: Michelle (Leigh) Marse; 3 grandchildren: Jaydon Marse; Noah Marse; Caleb Marse; sisters: Jimmie Crabtree; Debbie Lee Ricks and husband Kenny. Memorial Service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Lucas Funeral Home in Justin, Texas.
