Mildred Walker

Mildred "Grommie" Walker, 88, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Mildred was a devoted wife, loving mother and an amazing grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Dewey E. Walker; and her two sisters. Survivors: Her son, Ronald E. Walker; daughters, Donna Gardner and husband, Buzz, and Dale Ann Jones and husband, Bill; six grandchildren, Eddy Walker, Donnell Avila, Erin Hall, Rhett, Kaleigh and Kameron Jones; and five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Mallory and Mason Avila and Gary and Gardner Hall.
