FORT WORTH -- Parker Cole, 12, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, May 6, 2013. She joined her mother, Shauna Cole, who passed away in 2008. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Light of the World Church, 8750 Old Denton Road, Fort Worth. Interment: Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Parker was a student at Highland Middle School in Fort Worth and had many special friends there. She was a sweet, precious girl whose life is to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, she will remain in our hearts and in our memory forever. Survivors: Her father, David Cole; sister, Brea Berschig; grandparents, Monroe "Skip" and Patti Walbridge; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
