Patricia Ann Jackson-Bell was born on July 17, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas. On September 26, 2025, she was received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, entering the kingdom of Heaven peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family.
Patricia grew up in Fort Worth and was a proud graduate of Eastern Hills High School. She is also a celebrated alumna of the Class of 1975 (The Class That Never Was) at the historic I.M. Terrell High School. She built a successful career with the City of Fort Worth and later followed her servant’s heart into a second career with the AIDS Outreach Center, where her compassion and dedication touched countless lives.
A woman of elegance and vibrant spirit, Patricia loved to travel, especially on cruises, and truly lived her best life. A self-proclaimed diva, she radiated beauty—both inside and out. Patricia was a devoted servant of Jesus Christ and lived a life grounded in grace, faith, and love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Wayne Jackson, Sr.; husband, Melvin Ray Bell; brothers, Douglas W. Jackson, Jr. and Darryl Clardy; and sister, Teresa Askey.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memories and spirit include her beloved daughter, Capricia Bell of Fort Worth; adoring mother, Jim Esther Clardy; siblings, Ferdinand Jackson of Fort Worth; Timothy Jackson and wife, Terri of Princeton, Minnesota; nieces and nephew, Camilla, Nakisha, Sabrina, and Jonathan. Patricia is also survived by her committed companion of over 20 years, Vincent Kuykendall and of course her precious fur grandbabies, Peetie and Chapo.
A wake service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Destiny Church located at 3508 Blue Springs Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76123.
