Paul Parshall

Paul Parshall passed away August 8, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to First Baptist Church Pineville, Building Fund, 901 Main, Pineville, LA 71360 Paul grew up in Pineville, Louisiana. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pineville graduated Pineville High School 1974 He graduated in 1978 from Louisiana College, Pineville Louisiana with a B.S. in Nursing Home Administration. Paul was listed in Who's Who in American Colleges in 1978. Paul served as the administrator in retirement facilities in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. He developed a life long love of New Orleans and spicy seafood. Paul moved to Dallas in 1987 to work for the Telesis Company. He has served as Executive Director for Three Fountains, Autumn Leaves, Monticello West Retirement Community and Parkwood Retirement Community, where he was dearly loved by residents and staff during his career. Paul was able to make everyone feel welcomed and at ease. He blessed many families with his kindness, friendship and laughter. He enjoyed designing and making stained glass pieces for family members. Paul developed a talent for interior design. He beautifully staged his home in Irving and retirement properties. He loved having fresh cut flowers in his home.
