Paulette Yao-Yao

 Paulette Wilbun Yao-Yao blessed the union of James and Geraldine Wilbun Sr. on December 21, 1947 in Hope, Arkansas.

At an early age, Paulette professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized into the Fold of Christ under the leadership of Rev. Waters. For the last twelve years, she has been a member of Gospel Chapel C.O.G.I.C. under the pastorate of Rev. R. E. Shed. As an active member of The Sanctuary Testimony MC, Paulette participated in and all duties needed.

Paulette received her formal education in the Fort Worth public schools. She was a graduate of the Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in the historic Stop Six community.

She was preceded in death by her dear mother: Geraldine Wilbun; a granddaughter : Brittany Amie-Dillard; and her brother: James Wilbun Jr.

Paulette was a devout and loving Christian mother.

On November 4, 2022, Paulette followed Jesus Christ into The Garden of Eternal Rest.

Paulette leaves to cherish her memories:  three children: Kerensa Nowell-Hill (Oberian Hill), Patrice George(Michael George) and Dominique DeBarboza; her father: James Wilbun Sr.; siblings: Audrey Shed (Rev. R. E. Shed), Linda Sapp, Francine Bryant, Cindy Singletary (John); son-in-law: Andrew Russell Jr.; grandchildren : Ashley Thompson(DeAundre Thompson), Brian Washington(Tiara Washington), Andrew Evans, Steven Washington, Jeremy Russell, Leola Williams, Aiyana George, Kameron Bryant, Keiana Lightfoot, Li Niya DeBarboza, Londyn Williams, Cadence DeBarboza, Dylan DeBarboza and Cedric Jackson; a host of great grandchildren: her very loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; her dearest friends: Mary Hortense Belle and Ludovic DeBarboza and a host of friends.
