Regina Lyn Haywood Pifer, 43, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at a local hospital. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. George Catholic Church, 3500 Maurice Ave., Fort Worth. Celebrant will be Father Thu Nguyen. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Friday at Lucas Keller Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St., Keller. Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m. after the visitation. Private Graveside service to be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George Catholic Church 3500 Maurice Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76111 US 817-831-4404 Regina was born at St. Francis Hospital, Blue Island, Ill., on June 8, 1971. She and her family moved to Texas when she was 3. She attended school at St. John's Catholic School, Smithfield Middle School, Richland High School (class of 1989) and TCCC. She worked at J.C. Penney, Southwest Airlines, Guardian Life, Full Time Mother and. most recently, Amazon DFW7 as an ambassador. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Regina was very active in her community. She was a Girl Scout troop leader and a Cub Scout den leader. She was a volunteer at North Ridge Elementary School, a member of the PTA and more. She enjoyed the great outdoors, going to new places, meeting new people and helping out where she could. She will be deeply missed by all. Survivors: Her husband of 19 years, William; her children, Lydia, Daniel, Madison and Nathan; her brother, Rick; her sister, Shelia; her mother, Yvonne; her father, Rick Sr.; her stepfather, Tom; in-laws, Jack and Maritza; stepfather-in-law, Arnulfo; brother-in-law, Joey; sister-in-law, Laura; Step-sister Katie, Step-brother Bob, step-brother-in-law Harold, nephew Benjamin. nieces, Brooke and Tatum; nephews, Tanner, Elvis and Gage; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
